| PART B: PROJECT CONTEXT | |||||||||||
| B.1. Problem statement: | After the school hour, major portion of children’s time is spend in hostel, the condition of school hostel also affect the child’s over all growth & development. In Chauntra, it is getting over crowded with mixed age group due to which it is difficult to maintain homely atmosphere. Each category of age group demands certain behavior hostel atmosphere for the proper physical & intellectual development. In Paonta also above problems are similar and needs separation of Senior & Junior hostel campus. Unlike Chauntra, Paonta school is located in Indian plain and experiences extreme type of climate. Due to global warming, summer temperature often goes above 45C and children sleeping on lower berth are facing the worst in summer season. With the separation of Senior & Junior hostel, children can have a single bed system through out the season. It also gives more homely atmosphere & hygienically acceptable. | ||||||||||

Justification | In general biological behavioral needs of child definitely differ from different age group and due to unprecedented climatic changes certainly demands adequate change in hostel management. On the ground of above-mentioned facts fully justifies above changes in the hostel management. | ||||||||||
