PART B: PROJECT CONTEXT
B.1. Problem statement: These boarding schools are located in Northern India and they experiences 4 month severe winter season. Water becomes very cold and it is very difficult for the children to wash their clothes & bath with icy cold water. We have provided temporary arrangement but it hardly works to solve the problem, the situation demands a permanent solution. Since these regions have thin atmosphere, therefore, Solar Water heating is the best option as a permanent solution to this problem.
B.2. Specific objective/s. Hot water for bathing provided during winters.
B.3. Justification Conventional fossil fuels such as oil & LPG are becoming costlier day by day because of their depleting reserve. Switching over to Solar Power is economical, reliable and available in abundance. It is efficient & eco-friendly also.
B.4: Weakenss /s (internal)
B.4.1 List weakness/s that can be overcome During the cloudy sky, normally it is believe that energy absorb is less but we are using better quality of solar panels which is efficient even during the cloudy sky.
